2023: The year to renovate your home. Here are some tips to help you achieve it.
2023 is here, and with it, the desire to have a space that reflects this new beginning. While moving to another place, knocking down walls or changing all your furniture is a valid option, you don't need to do all of this to get this feeling of change. We give you some tips to renovate your house this beginning of the year and give it that fresh, clean and light atmosphere that will make it look and feel like new.
1. Hello to the new, goodbye to the old
Welcome this year with the right attitude to receive everything new. Do a deep cleaning, purge and organize everything from the largest room to the smallest drawer. Get rid of everything that is useless, unused or unneeded, so you will have space for new things, or even if you don't buy anything, you will have a home that feels different. Avoid clutter and accumulation, keep your space light and let go of what you cling to, both tangible and intangible. Cleaning also makes everything feel like new, we recommend starting by cleaning larger areas, such as floors or walls, and then moving on to dusting smaller pieces (don't forget your chairs and sofa, their care is very important so that they remain as when you first bought them).

2. Adopt decoration trends in your spaces
For 2023, some of the trends that will be most present are round shapes, which – through the movement of curves – create sensory environments; deep colors, such as reddish or blue tones and matte or powdery finishes, which can be present through accessories; plants, which create spaces full of freshness and tranquility; and sustainable decorations, which are increasingly on the rise due to the need to reduce emissions, waste and care for the environment, therefore, the trend leans towards natural, biodegradable and recycled materials.

3. Make the energy flow in your home
A fundamental step to welcome the new year and achieve a deep renovation of your space is to work on the energy that is there. Practice your favorite rituals, light candles, incense sticks, use natural salts, herbs or the elements of your preference. Rearrange your furniture and decorations, create a balance between everything to give it a more harmonious look. Light up those dark corners to give them life, so the energy will circulate better, even more so if you turn it into a special corner, accompanied by a plant or accessories. Clean and open your windows, allow the air to circulate and the old vibes to leave your home so that the new ones flow more naturally.

4. Make a wishlist
This is not only useful for personal goals and purposes, you can also do it with specific items that you want to have. Write a list of the things you want this year, this way it is easier to keep them in mind and focus on getting them. Don't think that longing for material things is trivial, much less if they are objects for your home; listen to yourself and allow yourself to visualize the space of your dreams: the one that will make you feel so comfortable and identified that it will inspire you to fulfill your purposes, the one where you will carry out many projects, where you will live, where you will grow and change both physically and spiritually. Manifest all this with paper and pencil, review it day by day, and strive to cross out everything you write there when you get it.
