How to choose the perfect color?
Color is one of the many elements that must be in harmony in our spaces to perceive the balance we seek.
Each of them represents different specific qualities for our home that we can use to our advantage to create environments with personality.
There are many ways to classify them, the important thing is to know what properties they provide in order to choose the ideal color, not only on walls as is often thought, but also on furniture or in the same decorative accents.
Let's start with Earth colors
Ochre, yellow, beige and brown tones are directly related to the earth. They are colours that stimulate curiosity and are associated with happiness. It is recommended not to use them in small, closed rooms or in the bedroom, because they are too stimulating.
A good option is to choose the main element in brown leather and neutralize it with beige or cream tones in the auxiliary chairs or in the decorative accessories such as blankets or cushions.
If we have many shades of wood, it is better to go directly to a more neutral color, a metallic tone like gray can work.
Metallic colors
When we talk about these colours we are referring to grey, white or silver. They are very appropriate for wall backgrounds as they provide neutrality and a lot of light. White in particular. In the case of grey, which is the union between black and white, it represents harmony translated into sophistication.
Blues
Like blue and black, they are colours that are associated with serenity and calm. They promote productivity and are recommended for rooms where we usually meditate or rest, as they provide tranquillity.
Black often has negative connotations, but contrary to popular belief, it is a color that invites contemplation, and is a symbol of elegance and sensuality. A good design piece in this color will add a touch of mystery to the space.
The green tones
Green symbolizes the plant world, nature. Depending on the shade of green, it can be more or less warm, and is suitable for any corner of the house, especially where you spend your time relaxing.
It doesn't have to be on the walls, just having plants is enough to receive the energy of this color in the spaces or if, ultimately, we are not good with plants, the absence of color can be replaced with imposing elements in green, such as a sofa or a chair.
