Tourist housing is a business model that opens the doors to great investment opportunities and a sector that more and more people around the world are betting on, as is the case of Standout –curators of the most select properties in the city– and your accommodation furnished by us.

ZR is a project developed by BH Studio for a short-stay apartment in the city of Medellín. The challenge was to create a space that felt residential, but at the same time, evoked the open and avant-garde atmosphere of a loft.

Before starting the transformation, we visited the loft, located in a building –formerly an office building– that had been restored to become a living space that retains its industrial style. Taking this as a basis, we began to carry out a selection of furniture that would preserve its look while giving it a warm touch.

Likewise, we considered the high traffic that the space would have, which led us to opt for pieces made from the most resistant materials: Metal coffee tables, sofas in dark microfiber fabrics with high resistance and stain protection, dining tables in oak wood and beds of different sizes to guarantee maximum occupancy.

Finally, based on the plans, we made a model of the space to verify the correct distribution of furniture in both suites and to finalize details.
