Si amas viajar, estos son 5 lugares que debes visitar este 2023

If you love to travel, these are 5 places you must visit in 2023

Traveling the world is undoubtedly one of many people's New Year's goals; if you are one of them, in this blog we present five destinations that you should add to your 2023 list. From cities with impressive architecture to natural wonders, get to know them all.

1. Uyuni Salt Flats, Bolivia

This is the largest salt flat in the world, a completely natural landscape where, in addition to enjoying an unparalleled view, you can see an endless number of native wonders, including various species of fauna such as pink flamingos.

The best months to visit are April, May and October due to its good weather, however, if you want to see its mirror effect, the best time to do so is from mid-January to the end of February. You can make a passing visit to see it and take pictures, or even book a tour that can last from a few hours to 4 days.

2. Stockholm, Sweden

In the north of Europe lies Stockholm, a capital distinguished by its nobility and design. Being a city where the Modern Movement was strongly promoted, it still preserves its ancient essence and embraces the change and advances of the new millennium with grace and subtlety.

This is an ideal destination for art, design and architecture lovers, and from 6 to 12 February, Stockholm Design Week will take place, with over 100 furniture brands, design studios and museums taking part. It not only offers exhibitions, but also a list of daily activities and events that can be joined in person or digitally.

3. Tatacoa Desert, Colombia

Located in the Huila department is the Tatacoa Desert, the second largest arid zone in Colombia. Although its name suggests it, this is not really a desert, but rather a tropical dry forest, and is one of the most popular natural tourist destinations in the country.

If you consider yourself an adventurer, a nature lover, an astronomy fan or a photography enthusiast, we recommend visiting this destination, especially in the months of June, July or August, since during this season it is possible to have a better observation of the stars due to its clear skies.

4. Cape Town, South Africa

This is Capetown, the most visited city in South Africa and one of our favourites to visit for its contrasts and natural surroundings. In addition to having a fairly pleasant climate all year round, it has a fairly varied gastronomic offer, a fascinating wine culture, white sand beaches, wild landscapes and endless tourist attractions, offering an ideal mix of nature, fun and culture.

The best times to travel to this destination are between October and November, and you can't miss visiting Table Mountain, one of the new seven wonders of the world; Bo-Kaap, a neighborhood characterized by its picturesque houses; and the Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden, the largest botanical garden in Africa and one of the largest in the world. Additionally, being located so close to nature reserves, you will be able to go on safaris and even stay in luxury hotels in the middle of the savannah.

5. Lencois Maranhenses , Brazil

This place integrates dunes, lagoons and mangroves, giving life to a unique landscape in the world by combining several ecosystems into one. Without a doubt, this oasis of fine sand, warm water, and crystal-clear lakes will fill you with tranquility and at the same time amazement.

The best time to visit the site is from May to September and you can do so either in the morning or in the afternoon, the latter being ideal to enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets. In addition, there is also the possibility of seeing its fauna, which consists mainly of migratory birds and sea turtles that are part of this pristine ecosystem. It is worth mentioning that —since there are no signs of any kind— it is crucial to visit the site with a local guide or hire a tour.
