In Diego Díaz's plastic work, time has no present. His papers, fabrics, blinds and drawings are postcards taken before the trip. In each piece, light is parasitic on the shadow. Diego Díaz refuses time. His technique considers drawing, painting and sculpture in a classic and realistic way, as well as installation and ready-made. His work is organic: it goes beyond the initial support, surrenders to light and explores the infinite possibilities of space. For more than a decade, Diego Díaz's creative proposal has been supported by galleries and collectors, and has been gaining presence on the international art scene.

Diego Díaz takes the realism of his works to three-dimensionality through the representation of metal blinds or curtains and concrete walls with which he establishes an eloquent dialogue between reality and fiction.
Given the true scale and accuracy of his representations, the artist manages to visually alter the spaces, involve himself in them, project himself from and towards them, managing to disorient the observer who initially doubts the context in which he finds himself.
Díaz's curtains and walls are drawn or painted, but instead of showing them as representations, he installs them with the logic of the usual placement of this type of elements, which allows him to not only demonstrate that reality is easily transformable, but that what is credible is not necessarily the truth.
